Business Development / Partnerships — Asia

The Role

We are a proprietary digital-asset trading firm, trading our own capital as principal across spot, derivatives, and prediction markets. We are looking for a Hong Kong based, mid-level Partnerships professional to drive ecosystem growth across Asia. You will be responsible for establishing and managing partnerships with exchanges, token issuers, prediction markets, funds, and trading counterparties — relationships that expand the firm's market access and trading footprint across the region.

This is a fully remote role, where you will work closely with trading and leadership to grow the firm's presence in Asia. You will be expected to map the regional ecosystem, build relationships with the right counterparties and venues, and help connect their needs with the firm's trading and liquidity capabilities.

What You Will Do

New Partnerships & Introductions

• Establish new partnerships across Asia with exchanges, token issuers, prediction markets, funds, and institutional trading counterparties.
• Make introductions and open doors for the desk — connecting the firm with the right counterparties, venues, and projects across the region.
• Map the regional ecosystem and grow the firm's network, from first introduction through to long-term partnership.

Relationship Management

• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key partners and counterparties.
• Act as a primary point of contact, ensuring high-quality service and responsiveness.
• Deepen existing relationships across additional products, venues, and markets.

Positioning & Desk Collaboration

• Work closely with trading to understand and communicate the firm's capabilities across market-making, principal trading, OTC derivatives, and structured products.
• Help connect partner needs with the firm's trading and liquidity capabilities.
• Stay current on market trends, competitive dynamics, and ecosystem developments across the Asia crypto landscape.

Ecosystem Strategy

• Help define the firm's growth strategy for Asia, including priority segments, venues, and relationships.
• Feed market intelligence back to trading and leadership on pricing, product demand, and competitive positioning.
• Represent the firm at conferences, events, and industry meetings across the region.

What You Bring

Required

• Prior experience at a market maker, proprietary trading firm, or OTC desk.
• Must have work authorization in Hong Kong.

Preferred

• 3–6 years of experience in partnerships, relationship management, or ecosystem roles within crypto.
• Strong understanding of digital-asset markets — including spot, derivatives, and market structure.
• Familiarity with OTC derivatives, options, or structured products.
• Experience working with institutional counterparties such as exchanges, funds, or token projects.
• An existing network across the Asia crypto ecosystem — exchanges, projects, funds, and trading firms.
• Demonstrated ability to open doors, build trust, and manage relationships end-to-end.
• Excellent communication skills — able to clearly explain trading and liquidity concepts to sophisticated counterparties.
• Self-starter mentality with the ability to operate independently in a fast-moving environment.
• Multilingual capabilities (Mandarin or other Asian languages a plus).
• Hong Kong based (open to other locations in Asia).
